Sirens, Episode 11
At and around the Ormond Hotel on the north bank of the Liffey.
From the website of the South Dublin Libraries, photograph of Ormond Quay taken c. 1900. The hotel is the fifth building to the left of the church. This is a high-resolution image and will open in a new browser window. Click the image to zoom in.
In 1904, the hotel occupied No. 8 Ormond Quay, a building with an 18-foot frontage. In 1906, the Ormond's owner purchased No. 9 and expanded the hotel.
